Great Wall Chinese Restaurant in Wilmore

I stop by this place on the way to or back from the range for lunch. Their specials are cheap and the food is decent.I also judge Chinese food places by how many times they've given food poisoning to my friends, so far it's zero times from here.

Nice vegan options include Bean Curd Hunan Style and Broccoli w/Garlic Sauce. Extremely fast completion on call-in orders. Confident in saying that for vegan Chinese it is the best quality food in Jessamine County, that’s not saying much but still nice to have a little Chinese place in small town Wilmore.

Quite good for a small town. Much better eating in when it's fresh. Still good to go though. All the favorites and crab rangoons are better than most.

Portions are huge, delicious, and really cheap.

Nothing fancy. Walk up, order, and get some really good Chinese food. Had the szechuan beef and honey chicken.

Great food. When something didn't come out as expected, like we thought there should be more broccoli, we simply asked the waiter and he brought plenty of broccoli out for us, no extra charge. They may seem busy, but they really care.

Great food, terrible pick up arrangements. If you show up when they tell you to, the line is crazy due to social distancing. That's good - I appreciate their compliance, BUT they need to think this through and come up with a check-in system where they call your name or number out, rather than everyone waiting in a line until their food is done, while others' orders sit nearby bagged and getting cold. I love their food when it's hot, not so much when it's not. I won't be back after being told 45 minutes as I called it in, arriving at 40 and finally getting my rather expensive take-out meal for six - an hour and a half from the time I called. 👎👎👎

Food is always great. In the era of Covid, it would be nice if people were directed to stand in the parking lot once they order. The last few times I have been, I have had to wait the entire time while someone orders, stands in the ordering area, waits for their order to be made and then leaves. So everyone else is just idle waiting in the parking lot.
